Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz who was birthed in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for the town she grew up in. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's parents relocated her and their children to Mendocino County California when Ryder was seven years old.
