Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films along with a handful of Malayalam. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying actress Savitri on her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her first career was a children's actress. Later, after studying fashion design, she was back to acting. She played her first major role as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013) in an Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well at the box office. The director is A. L. Vijay, alongside Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go very well, but it did release. Because of her hectic schedule for 2015, she was forced to pull herself out of projects on which she was already working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The actress was in two films quickly, along alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor on Prabhu's Thodari. However, the film is delayed since 2015, with reports of release after September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy was the lead actress alongside Vijay in Bairavaa by Bharathan, which premiered on January 17, 2017.
